laundry-ug!

so I had so much laundry to do, I decided that I better do it! When I got it all downstairs to do, there were PILES everywhere...I am surprised that we even had ANY underware! There was so much I couldn't fit it all into one picture so I had to take several shots-after I got half of it done I think I still counted like 7 or 8 piles still to go. But I am proud to say that it is ALL done:)

easily entertained

So one of my friends brought me this card...
I started laughing so hard-since this is usually what I think about durring the day! With every little thing I do-I always think "I need my camera" or "this could be my pic of day"!I know it rally isn't a picture that I took but I had to share:)
and my picture for today...

kids are soooooo easily entertained! Mason brought his pumpkin into the house and Marshal and him both grabbed some pencils and started stabbing the poor thing-it wasn't just a jab here and a jab there-no it was a STAB! matter of fact I think there is a pencil in the middle of the pumpkin they stabbed it so hard! Then they started to roll this stinkin thing up and down our hall-when I seen them I wanted to get mad, just in case pumpkin was getting on my carpet! Then I thought "POD".

Love those weekends

I love mornings at our house-that is when Marshal doesn't wake up ten times that night. All of the kids were up by 6 am today and came and climbed in bed with us-well Abbie didn't. but I brought herr in. I love the pictures of us kids when we were younger and we are just crashing with our dad-so I had to grab the camera and snap this of Mike with the kids.
on Sunday Mike and the boys went to church. Abbie and I stayed home because all the sickness that is out there flying around right now. When they got home we decided to go for a ride up Bountiful. The colors are so pretty. But man was is COLD! It was fun to go to the mountains since I haven't been all year. I love the smell of the mountains and I love that you tend to forget your everyday life while your up in Heavenly Fathers country.

catch up time again...

Today was a hard day for me and Mikes side of the family. His cousin had a baby that died at birth and they burried him today. I couldn't believe how small the little casket was. They had an open casket, which was a little hard for me-but we arn't all alike-it was such a good graveside service. I am thankful that I was able to go-Mike had to work today so my sister in law watched my kids for me-thank you-when I went to pick them up I went to my mom's house-she was going to watch Abbie for me while we went and helped with some service that Mike was in charge of at work-I walked in her house and before I could sit Abbies carseat down she said
"Amie, just so you know, I was expossed to the swine flu"
so I grabed Abbie and said okay boys lets go! I wasn't going to stick around there for very long-there are 10 families in their ward that have it! YUCK:( so needless to say I am staying my distance from Syracuse for a few!
My mother-in-law makes some really cute things with her sewing machiene-she makes these cute little finger puppets-they are so fetchin cute I ordered them all for our church bag-I am so excited to give them to the kids to play with:)
We went to the Syracuse Pumpkin walk like we do every year. This year they had over 1000 pumpkins! My boys loved it and they were really fasinated by all the pumpkins that had spiders carved in them.
So quess who is loving her baby food...ABBIE:) She is so funny-she doesn't just eat it and scarf it down like some babies-she absolutly enjoys her food-she puckers her lips and savors the flavor she is so funny!
WOW-Abbie is 4 months! Today we had her doctor appointment-I can't believe how fast they grow up. So I took her to the doctors office and while we were there, there was 4 kids wearing masks because they had the flu-one was tested positive for swine! So Abbie was covered well and stayed that way. When we got into the room I grabbed me can of Lysol spray and sprayed it down. Then I got her undressed and we walked to the scale and the length measurement thing??? I sprayed there as well:) She weighs 14 pounds and is 26 1/2 inches she is in the 97% for her height-you go little squirt!

I love my kids...

Today I am so greatful for my kids. I love being their mom, even though some days I have my trials with some of them. I am so thankful that I am their mom.
Mike's cousin gave birth to a baby boy on Sunday. She was told a while ago durring her pregnancy that he would no survive when he was born. They had the choice to continue on with the pregnancy or abort him right then. And of course she continued with the pregnancy. She was really sick all last week (not feeling well with the pregnancy). So Saturday night she was really sick on the bathroom floor and they decided that they would go to the hospital, by the time they got there she was already at a 9! She gave birth to a beautiful baby boy with a lot of black hair. He had a tumor and his kidneys were full of fluid. He weighed 7 lbs (because of the tumor and kidney) He was 20 inches long-he was going to be a BIG boy! Last night as I was talking with Mikes aunt-I just sat and cried. I was feeding Abbie at the time and after I got off the phone I just sat there for about an hour holding her. Then I walked in and kissed and held both my boys. My heart aches for our cousin I can't even imagine what she is going through. And everytime I even think about it I end up crying my eyes out. I just want my 3 kids to know how thankful I am that they came to our home and that I am their mom-I love you kids:)

cute little witch

we got this cute hooded towel from some friends of ours-and I think Abbie looks so fetching cute in it. Everytime Marshal sees her in it he calls he a little witch. It would be a cute little witch costume I guess.

little #@%!

so whenever we go to the store Marshal always runs off and hides-I think I posted something like this before. But here we go again...
Mike and I went to the store and all of a sudden we couldn't find Marshal-then we heard some laughing coming from a clothes rack-the little @#%!. But of course I grabed my camera and took a shot before I grabed him out:)

YUCK!!!

okay so I was thinking of redoing my recipe collection. I was going to make a new book with all the recipes that we tend to use a lot. So I would make the dish, then take a picture of it, then load it into my digital program and make a recipe card with the picture if the recipe on it too! I know what a great idea-UNTIL I seen the picture that I took of new potatoes and peas-YUCK!!! It kindof reminds me of when I was pregnant:( So I think I may still make the cards but not add all the pictures:)

the clutz!

Mason has been really into the whole jump roping thing lately. So he tied his and Marshals stuffed snakes together and made himself a jumprope (don't ask me because we have like five jumpropes around) anyways he ways jump roping in our living room, which is usually off limits to roughness. However I was laughing so hard at him I couldn't tell him NO. He would jump then fall flat on his face-lets just say he ended up on the floor more then a few times.

bloggin-what for?

And this is why I BLOG! I am so far behind on the whole scrapbooking thing. Okay so sometimes I am behind on the blogging thing too! But my kids LOVE to look at the blog. I love when update it and surprise them with it. They will get on and be so excited if it is updated. They love it when the bloggin is about them-go figure.

scardy cat

Okay so all my blogs seem to go back to Marshal one way or another-sorry to my other kids I do love ALL of you but he is SOOOO full of it at 2 years old! So this is a spider in our halloween decor, it is the only thing that gets Marshals attention now days. I do threatin him with I will admit:) If he won't do something I will and have said "the spider is going to get you if you don't do it." or "the spider is going to get you if you do that again." This spider might have to be out all year long:)

sweet:)

I had to take this picture since quite in my house only happens when Marshal is taking a nap- which I am sorry to say this outloud-but I live for naps-it is my time to catch up on laundry or dishes or PIcKinG up the house, just for it to be torn apart again. Marshal is such a cute little turd. He has such a huge spirit in such a little body I sometimes feel really guilty getting mad at him.

what brain?

sometimes I feel like this skeleton-that has NO brain!
There have been days that I have no clue what I am doing or how I got places-it seems like everytime I call my sister I always say "what did I call you for?" (like she would know!) it seems that I forget more than I remember! Let me just say it is very frustrating at times-if my head wasn't screwed on I would lose it!

halloween decor...

Mason LOVES decorating for the holidays-I have been quite the slacker the last few years! So this year he was gone hunting with Mike. So while I was over at my moms house Carrie and I went to a wood store in Salt Lake and got this cute BOO. We came home and painted them so it was finished for Mason to put up with all our halloween stuff-he was so excited!!!

you would think it was a million!

Mason has been bugging me for forever to type on my computer! I don't like when my kids PLAY on MY computer. So I was telling my mom that I sometimes feel bad about telling him NO when it would probulary be a good spelling activity. She reminded me of an electric typewritter thet we bought when I was in school. So she asked me if I wanted it. So I looked at it and IT LOOKED BRAND NEW! So I brought it home for Mason and you would think that I gave him a million bucks! He loves to type on it and spell words and type letters to people. I should have did this along time ago.

heHeheHe CaTCh up TiME!!!

okay so this picture a day thing isn't working out all too well for me! I can handle the picture taking part, but it is the blogging that gets me. Okay so Mike went out of town and I was over to my parents (remember I am a baby) Needless to say I didn't have any internet there. Okay let me take that back-I did but I am one of those people who can't remember crap little alone my passwords and I don't have them written down-I am working on that! To get back to the story... I left my camera at my mom's house then by the time I got it again (thank goodness for old cameras) I was staying there again from Thursday to Sunday-so of course thats my story and I am sticking to it! So here I go on catching up...

This is Mike's deer from Wyoming-yes it is only a two point...but what do you expect when you have a six year old in your footsteps pounding his feet and I really think that Mike was homesick so he shot what he shot-I love you babe:)

This is grandpa great...And that he is GREAT! before Mike and Mason left for hunting Mikes mom called and asked if we could go down to grandpa's house for a minute. So we went together as a family. Come to find out when grandpa woke up that morning he was feeling light headed and dizzy, so he asked Peggy-Mike's mom-if she would call us down. He had some pellet guns that he wanted to give the boys before anything happened to him-he wanted to be the one to give them to them. Thanks grandpa we love you!

While we were staying at my moms house we were canning-Marshal had so much FUN with his cousins while we were having FUN (i guess) canning.

This is my dad entertaining Marshal durring the whole canning process-Thanks daddy!

We canned almost all three days-my sister canned with us for the first time this year. It was so much fun having her there with us.

This is my brother while I left my camera at my moms house...he thinks he is so funny!!! HAHAHA Wade the joke it on you!

This is the other hunt that Mike went on-his dad shot this elk out by Vernal-see why I have been over to my moms house so much-I hate staying alone!

Mason loves donuts-absolutly LOVES them. I went to Winegars for some food storage on their canned sale and seen this HUGE donut-so I had to get it for him-It was the BIGGEST donut I have ever seen (like 12+ inches) and I thought "if it is the biggest one I have seen then it will be the biggest one that my kids have ever seen too"! So I had to get it- Marshal is riding in the car one day and he is being very quite-not like Marshal at all! So I look back there and he is PICkiNG his nose-YUCK!!! So I grabbed my cel phone and said Marshal, he turned just right for me to get this fetching cute picture of him-thank goodness for technology. I love this picture of him even though he is doing something so gross!Whenever Marshal is at my moms house he loves to have her tell him stories-she can tell the best stories about anything-she would be a GREAT little white liar-however she comes up with some far out there stories-the other day I walked in on her telling him about when her dad was younger and he was feeding the cow and a mountain lion came close to him and how her dad stuck his hand down the mountian lions mouth and grabbed its tail and pulled on it and he turned that mountain lion inside out-he is so smart though he asked her what happened to all his insides-so she just keeps going with the story-thanks mom for keepign their imagination going!
Okay so now I know where all the OREOS went-right in Marshal's mouth! Actually I think both boys ate their share but Marshal leaves a trail where he had been all over his face-you cute little fart!
